Pam Smith Kelly — Artistic Director
Received her BME from UMC and her MME from KU. She taught elementary music for 16 years and directed the choral program for 19 years at Oxford Middle School in Overland Park, KS. In 2010, Pam was honored with the Northeast KMEA Outstanding Music Educator Award. Over the past 39 years, she has appeared as guest conductor, guest clinician and adjudicator for bands, choirs and orchestras. She is one of the founding conductors of the Kansas City Wind Symphony, Midwest Winds and three church orchestras as well as currently serving as president of Claude T. Smith Publications. As a choral educator and conductor, she is honored and proud to be one of the founding conductors of EncoreKC!
