Have you ever wished you could pick up a piece of music and sing it through without listening to someone else sing it first? Level 1 sight reading class will give you a good start. There's a lot more involved in sight reading than you might think! Level 1 will cover bass and treble clef staffs - names of notes, the different kinds of notes, reading different rhythm combinations, time signatures, key signatures, how to tell what line you're supposed to follow and how to use solfege to learn about intervals. And any other questions that you may have!

The Music Reading Class will meet on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.-11:00 a.m. beginning September 10 and run for 10 weeks. Class fee is to pay for materials that will be used in the class.
